The Minority Servicing-Cyberinfrastructure Consortium seeks interns for a 10-week summer internship program hosted at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES). The program covers airfare, housing, meals, and a $7,000 stipend per student. The program has two weeks of training and instruction at UMES and eight weeks of working on a team-based research project. Undergraduate students work closely with faculty mentors, graduate students, and climate science subject matter experts at several HBCUs. The program includes field trips, virtual group sessions with other students and mentors, and additional opportunities to engage with experts in climate science.
